You may hear party tents referred to as marquees or vice versa. But they both mean the same thing. What you call your tent depends on where you are from. If you’re British, then it’s a marquee or you may use Party Tent which are the words most likely used in the USA and Asia.

Our customers think one of the best aspects of our service is our free site visits. That’s right, we don’t charge extra to come and survey the area your event will be held. We think this is all part of delivering an outstanding service.

Yes, marquees are versatile enough to use on hard ground as well as soft ground. We can secure your marquee on hard ground using heavy weights. On softer ground such as grass we use stages to secure the tent.

For orders that cost less than £500 we require a £100 deposit. For anything over this amount, we require a 25% deposit. The rest is due on the day of delivery.

Generally, we arrive one or two days before to erect the marquee and when you event is finished, we’ll be out within one or two days to dismantle it. If you have any special requirements or require more time to decorate then we can discuss this at the planning stage.

The easiest way is to measure the site and then assess how many guests you are inviting with some space left over for any extras. You want your marquee to be comfortable and reasonably spacious for your guests to move around in, so it is always better to add on a bit more space than you need. In an ideal world all spaces would be square, but we don’t all have the luxury of large uncomplicated outdoor spaces at our disposal, so we are always on hand to advise and visit the site to help you plan and select a marquee at the right size.
